I booked this hotel on Bonvoy. Marriott should be ashamed to call this one of their properties. After a wonderful stay in the Residence Inn in Rochester, MN, this place was dreadful. DON'T STAY here. Bed was broken. Room had a horrible smell. Several things in the room were damaged. Room was also dirty.

The hotel location is good enough if you want to be close to the highway and shopping/restaurants in the area. The staff was very friendly too, which is always a plus. The downside of this place is that besides looking very dated, the A/C was broken in our room and when I told the desk attendant, she said, "Just make sure the air is on auto." Well the whole night, our air temp never went below 80 degrees, despite her instructions. It was seriously toasty and hot in that room the whole night. When I told another front desk attendant about it the next morning, she smiled and shrugged it off! Is this the way to treat a Bonvoy Gold Elite member? That's not usually the case, but I guess I won't ever stay here again, that's apparently my only recourse or dare I even ask for a refund...

This is our second stay at this hotel. The first, our shower was broken and spraying all over the walls of the bathroom (walls were soft so it’s been a while), our light in the bedroom wasn’t working, and our TV volume wouldn’t work so it just SCREAMED. Our second stay… things were going well, the rooms aren’t in the best of shape, they never sweep under the couches🤢 or clean throughly in general. I was walking down the hall, and there was a COCKROACH on the wall outside my room… I took a picture and went down to the front desk to notify. As I was standing there discussing it with the lady at the front desk, another guest expressed he “sees them here all the time, they’re everywhere” and “it’s not a big deal”.. I do not have cockroaches, never have. Never have seen one in a hotel before either. So to anyone thinking of booking here, just don’t!
